Locations

Rico Logistics currently operates a national distibution centre (NDC)/ Repair filter centre in Madrid with current space of 3000 square metres with the option to extend by 1000sq m. Currently we have in excess of 200 sq metres of available space as we only opened this facility in April 2007 for a new client.

The benefits of using such a location are as follows:

Rico Trace

RICO have now completed the roll-out of their new company-wide web based IT system called TRACE for ordering, tracking, reports and invoicing.

Rico is now able to manage every aspect of its seamless operation of field logistic services whilst giving full visibility to its client base. A good example of the power of TRACE is its ability to locate, on-line, the nearest Field Stock Location for a part required, validate address details and provide an ETA. At the delivery point, the defined contact signs “electronically” and the POD is available within minutes of delivery.

It is critical to service response that orders are received, validated and processed quickly and accurately. Total visibility, by both customers and RICO staff, of parcel or activity status is now possible. Whether it is a part pick request, on overnight parcel movement or a Technical courier service request, all aspects of the audit trail for each job can be viewed in real-time. Although the preferred solution is for customers to use this TRACE system accessed from their own offices via the web, for customers who do not require to use our own integrated and highly developed non-proprietary order processing system, then RICO has other alternatives.
